Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate!

As you guys know Starbucks is popular for their Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate!Going to Starbucks on a daily basis for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate can get quite expensive so why not make your own and save money : ) So I created my own Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate with a few ingredients and simple steps you'll have your own cup in no time and it's delicious!!

For the ingredients you will need: milk (your choice), whip cream (I'm using the kind found in the freezer section), sugar in the raw natural cane sugar, sea salt, caramel syrup, hot chocolate (I used nestle rich milk chocolate), saucepan, cup, and spoon.
To start off I heated 2 cups of milk in a saucepan on the stove and added 3 tablespoons of the hot chocolate to the pan and stirred together until dissolved and heated. Next I poured about 2-3 tablespoons of the caramel sauce into the bottom of cup and poured the hot chocolate into the cup and stirred together. Next I added the whip cream drizzled caramel sauce on top and sprinkled the sugar and salt over the whip cream and you're finished.

This is a tasty beverage during the fall and winter months hope you guys enjoy!

Shoe Cravings!

As I was browsing the computer the other day, there quite a few shoes that I have been craving to buy lately and add to my shoe collection! From very crazy to quite simple here are some of the shoes that I'm currently obsessed with.

These are the suede platform pumps from Go Jane can be found here Suede Platform Pumps I absolutely love the sea foam green color and the hint of pink on the inside, but these would love great with a pair of skinny jeans and cute top or blazer. The shoes are currently on sale for $27.95

These are the spiked ankle strap platforms also from Go Jane and can be found here Spiked Ankle Strap Platform but these shoes are $34.95 I love the blush color as well as the gold detailing on the shoe and the ankle strap really gives the shoe a sophisticated look.

These shoes are my absolute favorite! I love the black and gold combination as well as the gold intricate detail on the heel of the shoe and gold studs surrounding the base of the shoe. Also from Go Jane these are a bit on the pricey side $60.95  can be found here Leather Metallic Woven Platform These shoes would be a statement piece to any outfit!

I love the Jeffrey Campbell Lita's, but these are replicas which come in different colors from Go Jane for $28.95 and can be found here Lace up Leather Platform

How crazy are these shoes?!?!? I love them dearly!! I love the wedge bootie structure of the shoe as well as the gold studs and gold chain links attached onto the shoe. These shoes would definitely jazz up any outfit that you have. Also from Go Jane for $129 can be found here Studded Chain link Wedge Bootie

This is the lace-up leather riding boot from Go Jane for $44 which can be found here Lace up Leather riding boots I love the dirty grunge look to the boot very stylish and would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and a cardigan or cute shirt.

These studded moto boots give a very fashionable look from Go Jane for $41.80 can be found here Studded Moto Boots I love the color and the gold studs on the boots. These shoes also come in two other colors as well.

Bath and Body Works Haul

So I went to Bath and Body works a couple of days ago and these are some of the items that I picked up. I purchased three body mists: Dreamy Vanilla Woods, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, and Love Love Love. I also got a body creme' and body lotion both in Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Fall is my favorite season and I absolutely love when the store put the new fall items and scents out! I love seeing the leaves change colors so beautiful!

When I saw this sheep at Bath and Body works, I couldn't resist I had to have him. I thought this was so cute! It's a stuffed animal sheep that was $8.50 they also had small key chain versions in both black and white. Not sure of the exact prices of those, but I believe they were between $4-$5.

They also had these sheep slippers that I got for around $14 or $15 they only come in this color, but they are so soft  and comfortable. Your feet feel really relaxed in these and they're adorable!

I absolutely love the 2 for $20 3 wick candles at Bath and Body Works. The candle I got was Leaves and I also got this leave candle holder which I thought was festive for the fall season. The candle holders really add a touch of elegance and look very nice in the room when lit.

The second candle I got was salted caramel. Both candles smell very good and the salted Caramel candle reminds me of the Salted Caramel drinks from Starbucks. I am definitely looking forward to the next 2 for $20 sale!

Be sure to tune in on Thursday nights 9pm central time to catch all new episodes of Jersey Shore in the final season. If you never seen the show before it's interesting and you're in for quite a few laughs. You can also purchase the previous seasons of Jersey Shore from Amazon Jersey Shore DVDs to catch up on past episodes.

Healthy Dinner Options

Hey Loves! I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! I do apologize for the long hiatus from YouTube and my blog but I have been really busy with school and tests. I will do my best to have a new YouTube video up by the end of the week. I wanted to share some healthy dinner options that I made and are great dinner meals when looking for something healthy.

The first dish I made includes a baked potato, broccoli, steak, and mushrooms. I love the combination of steak and mushrooms together so yummy! All of these have great health benefits as well. Broccoli helps prevent colon cancer as well as helping with high blood pressure. Also rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, fiber, calcium, and folic acid. Mushrooms are rich in potassium, niacin, riboflavin, and selenium. Mushrooms help to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke.

For this dish I made baked chicken drumsticks, greens, tomatoes, baked potato fries. For the baked potato fries I simply peeled some Yukon gold potatoes and sliced into wedges then placed in a baking dish and coated them with olive oil and sea salt then cooked them in the oven. Tomatoes help to reduce the risk of cancer, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease. They contain a high amount of lycopene and anti-inflammatory functions. Greens are rich in vitamins B, K, C, and E, also contain iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. They help prevent colon cancer as well as many other benefits. This dish was absolutely delicious!

So, I was browsing through Target and came across these piggy banks! I thought they were the cutest things, so adorable! They have a whole shelf stacked full of them of different characters. My favorite is the pink tiara piggy bank. Which one is your favorite?

Artery Unclogger and Stuffed Cabbage

This is what I had today after my workout. You may be wondering what it is. Well it is a kale avocado smoothie that I made. Kale is great for your eye sight and avocado works wonders for unclogging your arteries. Kale and avocado also have other healthy benefits. To make this I used 1 avocado, kale, ice cubes, orange juice, plain greek yogurt, and a little bit of honey for sweetness. I combined all the ingredients in a blender and this is the finished product. I like to drink what I call my artery unclogger drink at least once a week. I make other smoothies sometimes for breakfast during the week I may post about at a later date. This smoothie is very healthy for you and fills you up.

Lunch time! This is what I've been eating this week for lunch and had today also. This is a stuffed cabbage I made which consists of 1 cabbage leaf, brown rice, black beans, and chicken. I sometimes use ground turkey instead of chicken. You can add or substitue whichever ingredients you choose. I cooked the meat and brown rice separately then set aside. I took a can of black beans drained the juice and rinsed the beans. I placed the beans, meat, and rice inside the cabbage leaf and rolled the leaf up in foil. I then placed in a baking dish and cooked in the oven for about 15-25 mins to warm and wilt the cabbage leaf a bit. This is pretty tasty as well as quick and easy to make especially the days you don't have alot of time to spend in the kitchen. This is also very healthy as well. If you recreate this dish I'd love to see what you make feel free to post a picture response if you do.

Updates: I know I've been MIA for a few, I do apologize I've been really busy this week with school, work, and meetings. Going to try my best to get a new video up on youtube this week. I'm still working on testing with lighting in my videos, I'll probably be getting a new lighting system sometime soon. I'm also working on a new camera to film videos with but it will be a little while for the camera. Thank you guys for your contiuous support, I greatly appreciate it and will be doing a giveaway at 500 subbies!!

TGIF!!

TGIF!! So excited the weekend is here! Even though I won't be doing much but studying. It's been a long week of interviews, appointments, classes, and work so it's great to be able to wind down and complete some much needed cleaning and homework. I did happen to catch the VMA's and the Democratic National Convention both were very interesting!

My favorite part of the VMAs was Taylor Swift's performance, she did a wonderful job and I absolutely love her new song "We are never ever getting back together" which is also my favorite song for the month of September. Check out her video above!

In other news, I'm currently applying to become a MAC makeup artist so I've been doing makeup looks on different people all this week to include in my MAC portfolio, but I will keep you guys updated on how that goes. Here are some of the pictures of the looks that I created.
