Healthy Dinner Options

Hey Loves! I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend! I do apologize for the long hiatus from YouTube and my blog but I have been really busy with school and tests. I will do my best to have a new YouTube video up by the end of the week. I wanted to share some healthy dinner options that I made and are great dinner meals when looking for something healthy.

The first dish I made includes a baked potato, broccoli, steak, and mushrooms. I love the combination of steak and mushrooms together so yummy! All of these have great health benefits as well. Broccoli helps prevent colon cancer as well as helping with high blood pressure. Also rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, fiber, calcium, and folic acid. Mushrooms are rich in potassium, niacin, riboflavin, and selenium. Mushrooms help to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke.

For this dish I made baked chicken drumsticks, greens, tomatoes, baked potato fries. For the baked potato fries I simply peeled some Yukon gold potatoes and sliced into wedges then placed in a baking dish and coated them with olive oil and sea salt then cooked them in the oven. Tomatoes help to reduce the risk of cancer, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease. They contain a high amount of lycopene and anti-inflammatory functions. Greens are rich in vitamins B, K, C, and E, also contain iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. They help prevent colon cancer as well as many other benefits. This dish was absolutely delicious!

So, I was browsing through Target and came across these piggy banks! I thought they were the cutest things, so adorable! They have a whole shelf stacked full of them of different characters. My favorite is the pink tiara piggy bank. Which one is your favorite?
