Kick Start Your Day


As you guys have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you should not skip breakfast. Eating breakfast improves your metabolism, keeps you on track if trying to lose weight, helps maintain insulin response, helps you perform better at work or school, burns calories early, gets you essential nutrients early in the morning.

I"m not much of a breakfast person, but two of my favorite breakfast go to items are green tea and Quaker instant 1 minute oatmeal. I drink green tea on a daily basis as well.

 
Green Tea has lots of health benefits including lowering cholesterol, helps prevent tooth decay, prevents cancer, aids in cardiovascular disease, infection, arthritis, and impaired immune function. Green Tea contains EGCG which is a powerful anti-oxidant which kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue and inhibits the abnormal function of blood clots. 
 
 
For my oatmeal I buy the Quaker 1 minute instant oatmeal in the cylinder tube from my local grocery store. I add cinnamon, skim milk, and brown sugar to it. Sometimes I may add chopped up apple pieces or substitue the brown sugar for honey. This can be cooked on the stove in a pot of 1cup boiling water. Oatmeal also has health benefits as well including lowers cholesterol, boosts immune system, contains special antioxidants for health protection, lowers risk of dieabetes, prevents breast cancer, and gluten-friendly.
