Colorblocking is really popular this spring! Colorblocking is strategically placing contrasting, yet complimentary, bold and bright colors paired together to create a unique look. Which has been seen on the Spring 2011 runways.
How do you Colorblock? you may ask. The most popular theory for combining colors is the rule of two thirds. This can be achieved by making an equilateral triangle (a tirangle with 3 equal sides) on the color wheel from there pick two of the three colors that the triangle touches.
The next most poplar spring trend is floral prints.Which can be seen pretty much everywhere in dresses, shoes, rompers, hats, purses, belts, skirts and the list goes on.
I'm definitely a fan of the flower prints on rompers, dresses, and shoes especially ballet flats or wedge high heeled shoes.
The final Spring trend is bright jeans, which can be found pretty much in every store now from Target to Wetseal, Charlotte Russe, H&M, Express, Forever 21.
They can be worn so many different ways, dressed up or dressed down for a more casual look.
Adding your favorite blazer with nice accessories really dresses up the bright colored jeans.
Dress down the bright jeans with a dressy shirt a casual handbag and a pair of ballet flats.
I definitely will be doing a spring haul soon and will share with you guys what I picked out for my Spring Trends!
