New Beauty Products 2013

Hey Lovelies! So I've done a little shopping at Target and picked up these beauty product goodies. Here I have the Revlon Photo Ready concealer in medium deep 005, the Revlon Photo Ready Color Correcting Primer, and the Milani glitter nail polish in the color Gems.

Here is a better view of the Revlon Photo Ready concealer. I wanted to go a shade lighter for my concealer to give a brightening effect and to add highlight underneath my eyes. I have tested the concealer out and I love it! This concealer goes on very easily, it has a creamy consistency, easy to blend, and can apply multiple layers for build able coverage.

These are two products by NYX which I got from ULTA. The NYX Jumbo eyeshadow pencil in milk. I love this and use it as an eyeshadow base to give my eye shadows something to adhere to as well as bringing out the intensity of the eye shadows. I also love the NYX shine killer which was about  $12-$13. I have oily skin and this product really helps to keep my skin matte and eliminates shine and oil from my skin.

These four products I also got from ULTA two lip glosses and two soft matte lip creams. The two matte cream lip colors that I purchased was Antwerp and Stockholm. The two lip glosses that I got was smokey look and beige. I love to wear these lip creams and lip glosses together with bold eye makeup. The lip creams are awesome, they provide a matte finish which I absolutely love. At first they go on as a creamy consistency but then dry to a matte finish. When applying the lip gloss on top it gives just the right amount of shine.

The next two items I also got from ULTA which are the Real Technique makeup brushes by Samantha Chapman. I love these brushes the two brushes that I got is the Stippling Brush and the Powder Brush I use the stippling brush to apply my liquid foundation and buff it on my face followed with the powder brush to apply my press or loose powder. These brushes give a flawless application and are very soft. To find out more about the brushes and to purchase any brushes from the collection you can visit the website here Real Techniques Makeup Brushes  Also, there's a chance for you to win a set Real Technique brushes which are given away every Friday simply click the link here to find out how to win. As you all probably know, I'm obsessed with the Beauty Blender and found this dupe at ULTA for about $5. I was definitely in need of a new one so I purchased this for the time being. I will do another post here on my blog comparing and contrasting as well as giving the pros and cons of the different types of beauty blenders soon. You can also check out my review on the Beauty Blender on  My Youtube Page

Next I purchased these products from Sally's Beauty Supply. I picked up the Post Epilation Lotion, the Brazilian Bikini Wax, the Pre Epilation powder, and a few wax applicator sticks. I feel that doing an at home bikini wax definitely will save you a lot of money in the long run. They also sell a Brazilian Bikini wax kit which you can get from Sally's Beauty Supply. The Brazilian Bikini Wax and the wax sticks is the main application process. The post epilation lotion is used after the waxing application process to provide calming to the skin and any redness. The pre epilation powder helps to absorb oil and moisture as well as making the application process easier. To find out more on these products check out the video on my YouTube page Hair Removal products that work.

Finally I got two of the new Maybelline 24hr. color tattoo metal eye shadows from Target about $6. There's a total of five new colors from the metal collection. The two colors I got was Gold Rush and Iced in Pink. As you can see how bright the colors are I absolutely love these to wear alone or to use as eyeshadow bases. I will be doing a separate post here on my blog for all of the Maybelline Color Tattoos providing more information and swatches so stay tuned for that. Below I have posted more pictures of the color tattoo eye shadows. Enjoy!

December Favorites 2012

Hey Dolls! I hope you all had a chance to check out my December Favorites if not you can watch the video above. I have also included a few pictures below of my favorite items for the month.

Here I have the Brown Sugar Fig Body Cream and the Brown Sugar Fig lotion and I got both of these from Bath and Body Works when they had the Buy 3 Get 3 Free Sale during the Holidays and it smells amazing! Absolutely one of my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works.

I also got the Indian Healing Clay mask by Aztec Secret from Vitamin Shoppe and Cetaphil moisturizing lotion from Target. These are both my staple products that I use continuously. I will be doing a review soon on how to use the mask. The lotion really keeps your face moisturized all day this product is great to use especially if you have dry skin.

These are also a part of my staple products: The Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer works wonders for creasing in your eyeshadow and helping your eyeshadow to last all day and night. I like to use this also before I put my concealer on under my eye I will put primer down first then concealer and really helps creases from forming. I love to feel glamed up by wearing false eyelashes at the moment I'm currently loving the Ardell eyelashes they really give the extra volume to your eyelashes. I will do a tutorial soon on how to apply fake eyelashes. I also love to wear cream eyeliner this really makes your eye makeup pop. I was wearing the liquid eyeliner at first but found it was harder to create a steady line and would look faded after long wear, but with the cream eyeliner it provides a matte finish and is durable all day and night.

This is one of my favorite songs for the month of December by Taylor Swift called "Trouble" click the video above to view. Also be sure to watch my December Favorites to see all of the products featured.

New Skincare Products

So I went to the Vitamin Shoppe a few weeks ago and found these products and decided to try them out. I have been using the Sea Buckthorn oil for a while now but it was a different brand. The products that I have here is the Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn oil, Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Facial Cleansing Cream, Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Facial toner, and the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay mask.

I use the Sea Buckthorn oil as part of my nighttime routine. After I cleanse my face I will apply 2-3 drops of this on my face and pat all over I will then use my ring finger and pat some underneath my eyes. The Aubrey Organics cleanser and toner I'm still using these products but what I did notice when I used them is they both brightened my face and helped with the complexion of my skin tone. I didn't notice too much as far as helping with acne problems on the face.

As far as the Indian Healing clay mask I absolutely love this! I used this on my face last night before getting ready for bed, pardon my night time look. lol. This mask is made of Benoite clay and has a light green color. When using this product you can't using anything metal with it such as spoons or containers, it can only be used with plastic ware so be sure to use this product with plastic utensils only! To make the mask is very simple I only use about 1 tablespoon of the clay mask and pour into a plastic bowl and then you can either use water or apple cider vinegar I prefer the apple cider vinegar but I pour some into the bowl until the clay is damp and there are no dry spots so I just mix it together very well. I then begin applying all over my face not covering my eyes and lips I then leave it on for 15-20 minutes by this time you will feel your face pulsating which is normal this is how the product works. I use lukewarm water wipe it off with a washcloth and apply my Cetaphil lotion afterwards to moisturize my face. Here is the link to purchase the mask if you don't have local Vitamin Shoppe in your area.  Just click here The Vitamin Shoppe also here are the links for the Sea Buckthorn oil Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Oil and this is the other brand I used in the past Pure Sea Buckthorn Oil and  Sea Buckthorn Facial Toner and Sea Buckthorn Facial Cleansing Cream

E.L.F. Haul!

So, I went to Target a couple of days ago and picked up these E.L.F. makeup products. In the makeup section of Super Target there's a section dedicated to E.L.F. products. The products I got was the elf 144 neutral eyeshadow palette, the 10 piece brush set, 48 festive eyeshadow little black book, and the 32 eyeshadow cool compact.

The first item is the Little Black Book festive everday eyeshadow palette. I thought this was so cute and it has a range of different colors.

This is what it looks like on the inside when opened. On the left side is a small mirror and 20 neutral eyeshadow colors. Then on the right side is 28 colored eyeshadows.

Here's a more in depth look of the colors to see their actual color. As you can see almost all of them have a tint of shimmer to them.

This is the 32 cool compact eyeshadow palette. I love the design of this, it has a sleek and sophisticated look. This palette is medium size so you could actually carry this in your purse for any touchups that may be needed during the day or night.

Here's a look at the 32 eyeshadow colors from the cool compact. These have quite a few spring tone colors and more of the lighter shades. This compact would be great for a daytime makeup look when you want a hint of color.

This is the 144 neutral eyeshadow palette, this definitely has a great range of colors from very neutral to smoky neutral which I absolutely love. They have quite a few fall time colors also that are very intense.

Here is what all of the colors look like there's quite a few greens, browns, purples, whites, blacks, silvers and more. This palette is very versatile for whatever look you are trying to achieve.

This is the 10 piece brush set which includes the following: 1 blush brush, 1 foundation brush, 1 brow comb and brush, 1 eyelash and brow wand, 1 eye liner brush, 1 concealer brush, 1 eyeshadow brush, 1 smudge eye sponge, 1 lip defining brush, 1 total face brush.
